Today, take on no less than four of Bangkok’s finest temples and a tour around the city’s fascinating canals. Start out at Wat Traimit - home to the world’s largest solid golden Buddha - before hopping across the old city streets to see an even larger Buddha statue at Wat Pho. The one here may not be solid gold, but it impresses even more thanks to its sheer size and the fact that it is ‘leaning’ on its side - a reference to the Buddha’s “Lion Sleep” position. Hop across the road to the next stop, the magnificent Grand Palace, another sprawling temple complex boasting some of the finest Thai-Buddhist architecture in the entire country. After grabbing lunch, spend the better part of the afternoon on the water, meandering through the quaint canals and taking in the quieter side of life from the seat of a traditional ‘long tail’ boat. Of course, a tour of Bangkok’s Thonburi side isn’t complete without the spectacular and iconic Wat Arun - take time to explore the iconic temple towering 79 metres over the Chao Phraya River. Indulge your taste buds at Bangkok’s most famous Pad Thai restaurant on Thailand’s best Pad Thai, enjoying the explosion of spicy and savoury flavours and the amazing variety of textures from the delicate noodles to the crunchy peanuts. Later, Stroll through Pak Klong Talat, Thailand’s largest flower market, which only operates overnight. Take a short break from eating to visit the majestic Wat Pho after dark, where you can enjoy the temple’s sparkling gold towers beautifully lit up and marvel at the sight of the magnificent Reclining Buddha. Sip on a refreshing cocktail at a rooftop bar as you take in the splendid views of the Chao Phraya river and the twinkling buildings along the riverbanks. The waterside complex takes inspiration from Thai, Chinese and gothic design; here, see the intricately-carved camel bone dragon, or snap some photos next to the bright red watch tower overlooking the lake. Head a little further north to Ayutthaya to explore the ancient temple ruins and crumbling pagodas that used to form Thailand’s largest and most important settlement. Afterwards, dine on-board your boat while making your way back to Bangkok. Along the way, enjoy as the riverbank scenery slowly transitions from emerald rice paddy fields to traditional Thai architecture and finally an urban skyline.   *Please note:   The pick-up time is 07.00 AM   Duration: 7.30-16.00   DAMNOEN SUDUAK FLOATING MARKET (PRIVATE)   Prepare for a morning of colour, art and passion, as you’re picked up at your hotel and driven 100 km southwest of Bangkok to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in the Ratchaburi province. Harking back to a time when water transport was the primary mode of transportation, the floating market features fresh fruits, flowers, colourful clothing, souvenirs and more along the waterways and on vendor boats. Walk around and check out the many stalls or rent a paddle boat (at your own expenses) to experience the market from water. Next stop at the Mae Klong railway market. The market is also called; Talad Rom Hoop, roughly translates to closing an umbrella or awning. This probably doesn’t make any sense yet, but you’ll soon understand why. As the name suggests, part of the market is situated on the railway. Every morning till late in the evening, this market springs to life selling a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, seafood, snacks, and clothes and accessories. However, what makes the market unique and exciting is the fact that a train will run through the market 8 times a day, every day of the week. The action at the railway market begins several minutes before the train is due to pass through the market. As soon as the siren signals the arrival of the train, everything stops. Shoppers will hop off the tracks, and vendors will quickly pack their goods and prepare to close/retract their awnings from the train track as the train passes by. This process happens fairly quickly since the awning poles have wheels attached. Once the train is gone, its business as usual as if nothing happened. Climb up Doi Inthanon and marvel in the surrounding panorama of trees blanketing the rolling mountain range. Morning, check out and transfer approximately 4 hours to Chiang Rai. Lunch is at a local restaurant before check in at your hotel.   Afternoon, visit Hill Tribe museum PDA to learn about their ethnic and such a varities kind of hill tribe ; Lisu, Lahu, Akha, Yao, Hmong & Karen. Then visit Wat Rong Khun or known as White Temple designed by Thai National Artist, Mr. Chalermchai Kositpipat. Then visit Wat Phra Kaew before drive to visit Baan Daan (Black House), the house is a production of Thai National Artist Mr. Thawan Duchaneethis is an impressive park area with plenty of fantastic wood buildings, the main hall all in black. Beautiful woodcarvings, skins and horn installations are everywhere.

Start the day with visits to simple Akha and Yao hill tribe villages: The Akha originated in Tibet and are among the poorest of Thailand’s ethnic minorities. The Yao originated in China and are heavily influenced by Chinese traditions, still using Chinese characters in the writing of their language.   Continue on to Chiang Saen a small crossroads town on the banks of the Mekong. Scattered throughout the town are the ruins of the Chiang Saen Kingdom, founded in 1325, including chedis, images of the Buddha, and earthen city ramparts. Continue drive to visit the Golden Triangle where the Ruak river empties into the Mekong river thus bringing together the boundaries of Thailand, Burma and Laos. An exciting long-tail boat ride along the Mekong gives spectacular views of the Laotian countryside. Visit the Hall of Opium. Finally arrive at Mae Sai, the northernmost point of Thailand. This is the perfect spot to observe border life, as Mae Sai is one of the very few official land crossing between Thailand and Burma. Many Burmese come over during the day from Thakhilek to work or do business, hurrying back before sunset. Burmese lacquer ware, gems, jade and other goods from Laos and Burma are sold in shops along the main street.

A wonderful and not too difficult place to explore   The journey starts with a visit to a pineapple plantation.We travel pass Bang-Pu fishing village.Observe Bang-Pu is thriving fishing industry and preparing for the day catch.Then take a boat from boat station to Phayanakorn Beach [ subject to sea condition ]..   Only 20 minutes boat ride concludes at a beautiful stretch of beach below the Pra-Ya-Na-korn Cave. Good walking shoes are recommended as walking 430 meter up to the cave dome.
