DAY 1: ARRIVAL - HO CHI MINH CITY
Meal provided: No meal
Welcome to Vietnam. Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, obtain your Vietnam visa (please refer to your Special Program Note), and then clear Immigration and Customs. After collecting your baggage, exit the airport to meet outside a local Guide. Settle in and enjoy the rest of day at leisure.

DAY 2: HO CHI MINH CITY HALF DAY – EXPLORE THE HIDDEN CORNER OF CHINA TOWN

08:00 Enjoy the sightseeing to Reunification Palace formerly known as Independence Palace, built on the site of the former Norodom Palace, a landmark in Hochiminh City. Our next stop is the War Remnants Museum. Operated by the Vietnamese government, an incipient form of museum opened on September 4, 1975, as the “Exhibition House for US and Puppet Crimes, located in the premises of the former United States Information Agency building. Continue to visit City Hall, Ho Chi Minh Monument and Central Post Office which was constructed when Vietnam was part of French Indochina in the early 20th century. It has a neoclassical architectural style. It was designed and constructed by the famous architect Gustave Eiffel in harmony with the surrounding area. Today, the building is a tourist attraction. Right nearby, you can see Notre Dame Cathedral, a magnificent building located in the heart of the city and was established by French colonists. This cathedral was constructed between 1863 and 1880. It has two bell towers, reaching a height of 58 meters (190 feet).

Head to Cholon, Saigon’s Chinatown district to start a walk through one of the biggest fabric markets, which is known far and wide for its long-established role as a crucial distribution hub of fabrics, not only for the city but the entire southern region.Continue strolling down the street and pass by Le Chau Clan House, the temple of silver. Paying a short visit to Cha Tam Church built in 1900. Walk down one of the busiest streets in Cholon, as well as the wholesales tobacco market, observe the street life of the area by venturing through a lively local fruits market. (This area is a bit crowded with traders and vehicles) Be picked up by a car on standby at the end of the market for a drive to one of the most famous Chinese clan houses. Dedicated to Chinese General Quan Cong, Nghia An Hoi Quan was most impressive for its exquisite gilded woodwork, where devotees gather to perform daily prayers. Take time to make a wish, write it on a small card and attach it to one of the incense coils in the local custom. Then hop on a xích lô, a traditional form of transportation and ride around the area to admire the beauty of Old Chinese architect and ancient buildings of 19th – 20th century, ride along the herbal street and take a chance to learn about various kinds of herbs. Get on the car and drive back to hotel.

DAY 3: MEKONG DELTA MY THO – BEN TRE

In the morning, we leave Ho Chi Minh City behind and head to Vietnam’s rice basket of Mekong Delta. We will pass through idyllic, rural scenes until we arrive at My Tho, a peaceful town on the bank of the Mekong River, where we will visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda. Arrival, boarding the motorboat at a pier and cruising on the Mekong River. Here, overlooking floating houses where fishes are farmed beneath the house (viewing from the motorboat).
Continuing the journey on the river until reaching Unicorn Island), from here taking a “xe loi” to reach a performance site where Vietnamese traditional music can be heard and seasonal tropical fruit can be tasted (included). Afterward, being on a small hand-rowing boat in An Khanh (the main mean of transportation in My Tho & Ben Tre) and slowly cruising through a small creek with beautiful overhanging coconut trees. Lives from both sides of the creek can be observed. Before heading to lunch, passing through bee-keeping farm and enjoying honey tea, a typical Mekong house can be viewed here.
Continue travelling to learn coconut candies making process from a workshop. Sample of candies can be tasted Back to Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 4: HO CHI MINH CITY – FLY TO PHU QUOC ISLAND

Our driver only will transfer you to Tan Son Nhat Airport and catch flight to Phu Quoc.
On arrival Phu Quoc, welcome you by our driver only and transfer you to hotel for check in.

DAY 5: CABLE CAR 3 ISLANDS TRIP BY SPEED BOAT (JOIN IN GROUP)

DAY 9: CU CHI TUNNELS HALF DAY BY SPEED BOAT (JOIN IN GROUP)

07:00 You will travel and arrive hours before the large bus tour groups to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels historical site (also pronounced as Chu Chi Tunnels by some foreigners). Because this is a popular attraction with Vietnamese school children and holiday-makers, we set out early to avoid large crowds, ensuring that our boats arrive before everyone else. You will have an opportunity to uncover the secrets of the Cu Chi Tunnels, a vast network of underground passageways built and used by the Viet Cong to evade detection as they moved troops and supplies throughout Ho Chi Minh City’s northern districts. During the speedboat trip to Cu Chi Tunnels, English-speaking guide will introduce you to life along the banks of the Saigon River as your boat gracefully slips through knots of floating water hyacinths on this scenic boat trip. You will have a chance to enjoy a window into traditional Mekong river life and wonderful photo opportunities. After a short documentary, our guide will lead you through the historic Cu Chi, dug by resourceful guerrilla fighters to provide communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters during numerous conflicts. After you visit the tunnels, a traditional Vietnamese lunch of local specialties like lemongrass chicken and caramelized clay pot pork will be served.
Take the boat back to Ho Chi Minh City. At the harbor, our driver will take you back the hotel.
